This Gibson belongs to a professor friend and I wanted to tweak this guitar to make it a bit more lovely. I think that the bridge has been replaced and a rather sloppy job it was. The bridge pins could only be partially inserted and when removed looked like some right nasty old teeth. The oddity of the double pick guard is shown here. It appears to have some additions from the original factory configuration.
